The first part of January was unseasonably warm which makes these fish willing to play ball! I have been having steady snook fishing through the whole month with some nice size fish to hand and a few more named “Walter” that have been lost! The trout has been unbelievable good with some very big ones over 25 inches! The Redfish has been hit and miss and seem to be tailing good on the bars at high tide which is alot of fun. Sight-casting in the winter time with the fly is alot of fun on high water with lots of shots at good fish. Blind casting the grass flat drop off with the clouser has been producing great trout on the fly. Still wading up creeks to find a lot of smaller snook on the fly and always looking for snookzilla! All my guiding this month has been very productive! Come down and see me in paradise!
Let em go watch em grow!
